Multi-arc ion coating machine is an automatic equipment that can plate metallic film on the surface of workpieces. It can be used to make protective coatings and decorative coatings, which are widely applied in the field of watch industry (strap, case, dial, glassware), hardware industry (sanitary ware, door knobs, locks), architecture industry (stainless steel plate, stair railings, columns), precision mold industry (standard punch mold, forming mold), tools industry (drill bits, carbide cutters, broaches, shaving heads) as well as automotive industry (pistons, piston rings, alloy wheels).

Ion plating is a new process of deposition, it uses negative bias voltage to accelerate the addition of energy to working gases, membrane atoms and ionized ions on the conductive substrate. Ion plating can be applied to all kinds of materials including metals, polymers, ceramics, glasses and other products. It is a high-tech and advanced technology with unique advantages in stability, efficiency and coating quality.

The basic process of ion plating is vacuum evaporation. The vacuum evaporation method of ion plating has a series of advantages: 1. Quick pumping speed, stable vacuum environment and large load capacity; 2. Uniform coating film, great hardness, wear resistance and corrosion resistance; 3. Reactive gas can be added into the chamber during the deposition process to enhance the color range and structure of the coating.

In order to increase the coating density, we have developed new filter arc source coating technology and electron gun auxiliary coating technology, which can make the ionization rate of target surface faster, improve the ionization rate of cladding material, reduce the ionization level and achieve the super-hard tool coating. Moreover, we have a special coating software that developed by ourselves, which can greatly simplify the operation and ensure the stable performance of the machine.
